Straw Bale Design/Build

A significant part of our construction method was using local and sustainable building materials. This included using fallen trees from the University for our posts, beams, and ceiling boards, allowing the class to observe the life cycle of material inputs by milling all the lumber ourselves. Note the window sills made of raw edge cherry wood.
